Chapter 6: Connect to External AV Device

6.1 Connect Video Cable

Freecom MediaPlayer supports 4 types of video output; "Composite, S-video, Component,
DVI". Use the video connection that your TV supports. Normally, TV supports composite
video connection, and this package includes compos ite video cable.
When you can not see normal scr een after connec ting video cable, c heck
following:
1. "T V "– Switch to Video Input Mode: Turn on TV, and switch to video input mode same
as video connection. See TV user manual .
2. "Freecom MediaPlayer" – Switch to Video Output Mode: Press "TV OUT" button
repeatedly. Whenever "TV OUT" is pressed, the vi deo output signal changes.
3. W hen a normal screen appears, save the configurations of the Freecom MediaPlayer.
