2 Record movies.

Press the shutter button down fully to start recording. During recording, [lREC] and a counter that shows the remaining time appear on the screen.

Recording ends when pressing the shutter button down halfway during recording or the remaining time runs out.

There is no need to hold down the shutter button during recording.

The brightness and color of the screen shown during movie recording may differ from those shown before recording begins.

The exposure and white balance will be automatically adjusted to the scene being shot even after recording has started.

If recording is stopped immediately after it begins,

1 second of the movie is recorded onto the Memory Card or internal memory.

CAUTION

Because a movie is recorded onto the Memory Card or internal memory as it is saved, it cannot be recorded correctly if the camera suddenly loses power (if the batteries run out or the AC power adapter is disconnected).

A movie file taken by FinePix S8100fd may not be playable on other cameras.

[ EVF/LCD MODE] in the [USET-UP] menu is automatically set to [30 fps] (p.156).

Because sound is recorded concurrently with the images, make sure that you do not cover the microphone with a finger, etc. (p.11).

Camera operation noises may be recorded during movie shooting.

The size of a movie file can be up to 2 GB.
