Turning the camera on in

Shooting mode

Slide the ON/OFF switch to turn the camera on in Shooting mode.Slide the ON/OFF switch again to turn the camera off.MEMO Switching between the Shooting and Playback mode

Pressing wwhen the camera is in Shooting mode switches the camera to the Playback mode. Pressing the shutter button switches the camera to the Shooting mode.

CAUTION

The ON/OFF switch does not completely disconnect the camera from its power supply.

Turning the camera on in Playback mode

Press w for about 1 second to turn the camera on in Playback mode. Press wagain, or slide the ON/OFF switch to turn the camera off.

Press the shutter button to switch to the Shooting mode.
