Use this mode to take close-up shots.
Available Shooting modes: B, ,		,	,	,
?( , ,	), >, <, M, N

Press e (p) to select Macro mode.The Macro mode setting changes each time you press thee(p).

CAUTION

•When Super Macro is set, focal length is fixed to 60 mm (35 mm camera equivalent). Zoom function is not available.

•When Super macro is set, flash cannot be used.•When,, or is selected, Super macro cannot be used.

MEMO

•Use a tripod to prevent camera shake in Macro mode.

•Any of the following cancels Macro mode:-Changing the Mode dial to ?or r

-Turning the camera off

•If the flash is too bright, use flash brightness adjustment (➝P.87).

•Even if [MULTI] (➝p.85) in the [AF MODE] is set, the camera focuses near the center of the screen.

•AF-assist may not function correctly if the camera is up close to the subject, such as in macro-mode.
