Caution!

Very high temperatures occur during the pyrolytic self-cleaning process.

Observe the appropriate caution and keep children away.

Gaggenau baking trays and grilling trays are coated with pyrolysis-proof enamel. To arrive at an optimum cleaning result, you are nevertheless advised to remove all accessories from the oven before the pyrolytic cleaning process. Only this will ensure optimum heat distribution.

If you would like to remove burnt-in residues from your baking tray or your grilling tray, it is imperative that you observe the following safety notes:

Remove extreme fatty soiling, roast juice and food remainders before the pyrolytic cleaning process. These can cause a fire risk!

Only ever insert one baking tray or one grill tray in the lowest shelf in the oven.

Insert the baking tray or your grill tray fully.

The gridiron, the rotary spit or the baking stone must not be cleaned pyrolytically.

Before you start auto pyrolytic cleaning

Remove extreme soiling from the oven.

Manually clean the door seals, the inside of the door and the glass pane because the pyrolytic cleaning process does not clean these parts.

Important!

Check that the oven door is firmly closed on the oven.

Proceed as follows

Switching On

Remove all loose interior parts (e.g. gridiron or core temperature sensor) from the oven com- partment. There must be no objects left in the oven compartment!

Close the oven door.

Turn the "Temperature" and "Mode" control knobs by one latching position to the left.
