Adding and removing a PC Card

Your tabletPC has one PC Card slot (also known as a PCMCIA card slot). This

slot accepts one Type II card.

You do not need to restart your tabletPC when changing most cards because

your tablet PC supports hot-swapping. Hot-swapping means tha t y ou c an insert

a PC Card while your tabletPC is running. If your PC Card does not work after

hot-swapping, see the PCCard manufacturer’s documentation for further

information.

To add a PCCard:

1If the spacer is in the PC Card slot, release the eject button by pressing

the PC Card eject button once. Eject the spacer by pressing the eject button

again. Remove the spacer.

Important The tabletPC ships with a spacer in the PC Card slot.

Whenever the slot is not in use, leave the spacer in place.
