Adding or replacing memory

To add or replace memory modules:

1Follow the instructions under “Preventing static electricity discharge” on

page 221.

2Turn off your tablet PC and disconnect the AC adapter and modem an d

network cables.

3Disconnect your tablet PC from the optional FlexDock (see “Using the

TabletPC FlexDock” on page 227).

4Place the hard top on the front of your tabletPC.

5Turn your tabletPC over so the back is facing up.

6Remove the battery. For more information, see “Changing batteries” on

page 131.

7Remove the two memory bay cover screws.
