backupper rightcornerof the refrigerator

compartment .

When to Replace the Filter

Thereis a replacement indicatorlight for

thewater filtercartridgeon the temperature

display.Thislight willturn orangeto tell you

thatyou needto replacethe filter soon.The

filtercartridgeshouldbe replacedwhen the

replacement indicatorlight turnsred or if

theflow of waterto the dispenseror

icemakerdecreases.

Installing the Filter Cartridge

Ifyou are replacingthecartridge,first

removetheold one by slowlyturningit

tothe left. DO NOTpull down on the

cartridge. A small amountof water may

dripdown.

CAUTION: Ifair has been

trappedin thesystem, thefilter cartridgemay

beejected as itis removed.Use cautionwhen

removing.

Removethe protective foil fromthe end

ofthe cartridge.

Fillthe replacementcartridgewith water

fromthe tap toallow for betterflow from

thedispenserimmediatelyafter

installation.

Liningup thearrow on thecartridge

andthe cartridgeholder,slowlyrotate

thecartridgeclockwiseuntil it stops.

Whenthe cartridgeis properlyinstalled,

youwill feelit “click” asit locks intoplace.

Donot overtighten.

Runwater fromthe dispenserfor

3 minutes(about11⁄2gallons)to clear

thesystem andpreventsputtering.

Pressand holdthe RESET WATERFILTER

padfor 3 seconds.

NOTE:A newly-installedwaterfilter

cartridgemaycause waterto spurt from

thedispenser.
