D1 Debido a los peligros potenciales bajo ciertas condiciones, no recomendamos el uso de una extensión eléctrica. Sin embargo, si no obstante nuestra recomendación decide usar una extensión eléctrica, es absolutamente necesario que la misma sea una extensión especial para electrodomésticos tipo UL con 3 alambres, uno conectado a tierra, y que el nivel de amperios que pueda transportar sea mayor que el nivel de amperios del circuito. Tales extensiones eléctricas las puede adquirir en sus distribuidores de electrodomésticos locales.

D2 Un suministro eléctrico apropiado y un tomacorriente deben ser usados para operar las partes eléctricas de su estufa.

a.El cable eléctrico de este electrodoméstico está equipado con un enchufe de tres puntas (con conexión a tierra), el cual debe ser usado para que esté apropiadamente conectado a tierra en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios estándar, y con corriente normal de 60 ciclos de corriente alterna.

b.Si no tiene un tomacorriente de tres puntas conectado a tierra, haga que un electicista calificado le instale uno.

c.Un adaptador de tierra será necesario para convertir el viejo hasta que el tomacorriente pueda ser reemplazado. Este método es solamente temporal, y un electricista calificado debe probarlo para cerciorarse de que el mismo cumple con las especificaciones.

Bajo ninguna circunstancia corte o remueva la punta de conexión a tierra del cable eléctrico de la estufa. No proporcionar polarización apropiada podría causar condiciones peligrosas.
