THE EXHAUST HOOD

Have it ins~ed and properly grounded @ a qtified Mer. See the special initiation boouet packed with the microwave oven.

The daust fan in the oven ~ operate automaticdy under ce- conditiom (see htomatic Fan Feature, page @. WMe the fan is operating, caution is required to prevent the starting and spreading of accidental ‘ cooting fires while the mhaust fan is in use. For this reason:

–Never leave surface units unattended at high hat settings. Wfiovercauses smoking and greasy sptiovem that may ignite and sp~d if efiaust fan is operating. To minimize automatic fan operation, use adequate sized cookware and use high heat ofiy when necessary.

—In the event of a grease fire,

smother flaming pan on surface unit by covering pan completely with well-fitting lid, cookie sheet or flat tray.

–Never flame foods under the oven with the &haust fan operating because it may spread the flames.

–Keep hood and grease filters clean, according to instructions on page 29, to maintain good venting and avoid grease fires.

USE OF THE OVEN SHELF ACCMSORY

Remove the shelf from oven when not in use.

Do not store or cook with shelf on floor of oven, Product damage may result.

Use potholders to handle shelf and cookware. They may be hot.

Do not use microwave browning dish on shelf; the shelf could overheat. Do not use shelf with Automatic Cooking feature.
