REFRIGERATOR INTERIOR TEMPERATURE MONITOR

If the interior temperature of the freezer compartment remains unusually high for a long period of time (1–4 hours), a red light will come on. This red light will go off when interior temperature returns to normal.

CAUTION: When the refrigerator is first plugged in, the red light will stay on for several hours until the interior temperature goes down. This is not a malfunction. In order to allow the temperature to cool faster, do not open the door. In addition, the red light may come on if the freezer door is left open and the interior temperature goes up. If this occurs, and in order to lower the interior temperature as quickly as possible, do not open the door.
