Switching between RS-232 and RS-485 Protocols

Press the ► button to display the serial interface selection screen:

Use the ◄ or ► buttons to switch between RS-232 and RS-485 serial protocols. The current selection is indicated by the cursor. In the example above, RS-232 is the currently selected protocol.

Once the protocol has been selected, press the Select button to save the changes.

RS-232

If the RS-232 protocol is selected, the LCD will show the following:

Press the Cancel button to return to the Standby Screen.

RS-485

If the RS-485 protocol is selected, another screen will be displayed asking to specify whether or not the cable is terminated:

Use the ◄ or ► buttons to switch between TERMINATION Off and TERMINATION On, then press the Select button to save the changes.
