To Control a Compatible TV

To program your VCR remote control to control a specific

brand of TV:

1Turn on the TV and point the remote control at the TV.

2Press and hold down

TV

, then press the number

buttons corresponding to your brand of television:

Press and hold down

, then

press the 2-digit number for your

brand of television.

3When the TV advances to the next active channel, pro-

gramming is complete. If the TV does not advance to the

next channel, repeat step 2 using another 2-digit code.

Note: You may want to try all the codes if you have

difficulties, as some TVs are not listed but can

be programmed.

The picture is bad. I cant Timer Record. My remote control isnt working. When I use Copy Tape, my tapes are recorded at a speed other than what was set. When I use Copy Tape or put a tape into record, the tape ejects. Sometimes the tape begins to play or rewind when I dont want it to. My On-Screen Display has a message that says ERROR. Sometimes, I cant Eject a tape using my remote control. I cant reset the Deck 1 tape counter. My VCR doesnt work. I cant bring up the Edit List assembly menu. Why arent the Counters moving? Why cant I get a Menu or an On-Screen Display? Why do I get a blue screen? My Power button is blinking. My Copy Tape button is blinking.
