Operation
Do not operate a coiled hose. A coiled hose creates uneven heat buildup which can result in hose rupture and cause serious injury, including fluid injection.
Maximum hose operating temperature is 180°F (82°C). If using hose without an FTS, measure hose temperature to ensure it does not exceed 180°F (82°C).
Hose must be properly supported to avoid excessive strain due to weight, bending, or sharp edges.
Fluids subjected to heat in confined spaces, including hoses, can create a rapid rise in pressure due to the thermal expansion.
•Open a valve to relieve the fluid expansion during heating.
•Replace hoses proactively at regular intervals based on your operating conditions.
1.Connect air hose (C) to main air supply if equipped.
2.Connect electrical connectors (D) to connector from fluid manifold (M) or accessory control box. See , page 16. Connect hose cable (F) to cable from pro- portioner fluid manifold (M) or accessory control box. Connect signal cable (24) to connector behind the proportioner fluid manifold (M).Wrap connec- tions with electrical tape.
