Authorising the contents of a DVD
Films on DVD may be wholly or partially unsuitable for children.
Such DVDs contain information which identifies these scenes, provi-
ding them with access levels from 1 to 8. You can select one of the
access levels and thereby authorise alternative scenes for playback.
1Place any disc in the tray. After playback starts automatically,
press »7« to stop playback.
2Press »i« to open the main menu.
3Select »Child lock« with »A« or »S« and activate it with
»OK«.
4Select the »Country« line using »A« or »S« and press
»OK« to confirm.
5Select the desired country with »S« or »A« and confirm with
»OK«.
6Enter the code using the numerical keys »3« »3«»0«»8« and
press »OK« to confirm.
7Press »x« to return to the »Child lock« menu..
8Select »Access Level« with »S« or »A« and confirm with
»OK«.
9Select the desired access level with »S« or »A« and confirm
with »OK«.

press »OK« to confirm.

Press »i« to exit the menu.
Changing the access code
1Press »i« to open the main menu.
2Select »Child lock« with »A« or »S« and activate it with
»OK«.
3Select the »Code« line using »A« or »S« and press »OK«
to confirm.
4Activate »Change« by pressing »OK«.
5Enter the current code using the numerical keys »3«
»3«»0«»8«.
6Enter a new four-digit code using the numerical keys »1 ... 0«.
7Enter the new code again using the numerical keys »1 ... 0«
and press »OK« to confirm.
8Press »i« to exit the menu.
