DXM2 Controls
Note: The compressor will have a
Standby/Fan Only - In Standby Mode, the compressor will be off. The selected fan output(s) and RV relay may be on if appropriate inputs are present. If there is demand for constant fan, the appropriate fan output(s) will be activated for low speed operation, or constant fan airflow. If there is demand for constant high speed fan, the appropriate fan output(s) will be activated for high speed operation, or high speed constant fan airflow.
Note: DIP1.5 (Dehum Fan Mode Select) has no effect upon constant fan operation.
The RV relay will not directly track the input demands for RV, the DXM2 Control will employ “smart RV” control. This ensures that the RV will only switch positions if the thermostat has called for a Heating/Cooling Mode change.
Heating Stage 1 - In Heating Stage 1 Mode, the selected Fan output(s) and the Compressor relay are turned on immediately. If configured as Stage 2 (DIP1.2 = off), then the Compressor and Fan will not turn on until there is Stage 2 demand. The Compressor relay is turned off immediately
when the Heating Stage 1 demand is removed. The selected Fan output(s) will turn off after the selected heating blower off delay, and the control then reverts to Standby Mode. If there is a Master/Slave situation or a Dual Compressor situation, all Compressor relays and related functions will track with their associated DIP1.2.
Heating Stage 2 – In Heating Stage 2 Mode, the selected Fan output(s) and Compressor relays remain on. The Compressor Speed relay is turned on, and
Heating Stage 3 – In Heating Stage 3 Mode, the selected Fan output, Compressor, and Compressor Speed relays will remain on. The EH1 output will turn on immediately, and if the control is operating an ECM Blower, the airflow
