TIME SEARCH

The Time Search function makes it possible to quickly advance the tape to your desired position from any position by entering the exact amount of playback time of the part you want to skip.

NOTES:

•Time Search is set up to 9 hours 50 minutes (9:50) by 10 minutes at a time.

•This function is not operative in recording mode.

•Counter Memory function is not operative in this mode.

•This function is not operative when a cassette tape is not inserted in the TV/VCR.

In the example below: To watch a program after 2 hours, 50 minutes from the present position, in either direction.

1 Select "TIME SEARCH" mode

Press TIME SEARCH button

OR

Press MENU button repeatedly to point to "TIME SEARCH".

Then, press SELECT button.

2 Enter your desired time

Press CH or button repeatedly until your desired time appears. (Example: "2:50" for 2 hours 50 minutes)

3 Begin Time Search

Press REW or F.FWD button. The tape will move to the specified point.

The time counts down as the searching progresses. When 0:00 is reached, the tape will start playback automatically.

TO CANCEL THE TIME SEARCH

•While setting: Press MENU button.

•While the Time Search is in progress: Press STOP/EJECT button on the TV/VCR or the remote control. This will delete the selected time.
