FACTORY DEFAULT

Use to restore factory default settings.

 

 

SYSTEM DATA

System settings can be saved to a USB memory stick. The

 

settings can be reloaded in case of accidental factory

 

default or can be transferred to another DVR if multiple

 

units need to be installed with the same settings. All

 

information is saved apart from the network settings and

 

the system name.

 

 

PASSWORD

Activates/deactivates the need for a password to enter

 

specific menus

 

 

Configuring for Controlling DVRs

You can configure your system to control up to 254 DVRs from the same keyboard.

1.Click CONTROL DEVICE on the left side of the SYSTEM window. The CONTROL DEVICE menu appears.

2.Use the to configure the following settings:

SYSTEM ID If more than one DVR is connected on the same RS485 bus, each one must have a unique ID.

Note If you are using more than one DVR on a stack, then each DVR must have a unique ID for being controlled by a remote control.

PROTOCOL Must be set by Control Device.

BAUD RATE Must be set to match the baud rate of the PTZ controller.

Configuring the Users

Select USER in the Main system setup window, then click . The USER setup window opens.
