Oven Shelves |
| |
Clean the shelves with an abrasive cleanser or |
| |
steel wool. After cleaning, rinse the shelves with |
| |
clean water and dry with a clean cloth. |

Clean the area under the cooktop often. |
| |
especially grease, may catch on fire. |
| |
To make cleaning easier, the cooktop may be lifted up. |

To raise the cooktop: |
| |
1. Be sure burners are turned off. |
| |
2. Remove the grates. |
| |
3. Grasp the two front burner wells and lift up. |

Some models have dual support rods that will hold the |
| |
cooktop up while you clean underneath it. | Care
After cleaning under the cooktop with hot, soapy
| ||
water and a clean cloth, lower the cooktop. Be |
| |

Oven Air Vents | ||
| ||
Never block the vents (air openings) of the range. |
| |
They provide the air inlet and outlet that are |
| |
necessary for the range to operate properly with |
| |
correct combustion. Air openings are located at the |
| |
rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven |
| |
door, and at the bottom of the range, under the kick |
| |
panel, storage drawer or broiler drawer (depending on |
| |
the model). | Vent appearance and location vary.
