5.Remove the solid-state drive connector board cable (see Solid-state drive on page 35).

6.Remove the Card Reader board cable (see Card Reader board cable on page 37).

NOTE: When replacing the top cover, be sure to remove the following components from the defective top cover and install them on the replacement top cover:

●NFC board (see NFC board on page 38)

●Solid-state drive connector board (see Card Reader board cable on page 37)

●Card Reader board (see Card Reader board on page 45)

●Power button board (see Power button board on page 46)

Remove the top cover:

1.Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable (1) from the TouchPad.

2.Disconnect the speaker cable (2) from the system board.

3.Remove the two rear rubber feet (1).
