15 Warranty information

Your HP all-in-one comes with a limited warranty that is described in this section. Information about how to obtain warranty service and how you can upgrade your standard factory warranty is also provided.

This chapter provides information on duration of limited warranty, warranty service, warranty upgrades, returning you HP all-in-one for service, and contains the Hewlett-Packard limited global warranty statement.

Duration of limited warranty

Duration of Limited Warranty (hardware and labor): 1 Year

Duration of Limited Warranty (CD media): 90 Days

Duration of Limited Warranty (print cartridges): Until the HP ink is depleted or the "end of warranty" date printed on the cartridge has been reached, whichever occurs first. This warranty does not cover HP ink products that have been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused, or tampered with.

Warranty service

To obtain HP repair service, you must first contact an HP service office or an HP Customer Support Center for basic troubleshooting. See HP customer support for steps to take before calling Customer Support.

If your HP all-in-one needs a minor part replacement that you can replace, HP might prepay shipping charges, duty and taxes; provide telephone assistance for replacing the part; and pay shipping charges, duty, and taxes for any part that HP asks you to return. Otherwise, the

HP Customer Support Center will direct you to an authorized service provider who is certified by HP to service the product.

Warranty upgrades

Depending on your country/region, HP might offer a warranty upgrade option that extends or enhances your standard product warranty.
