What Is in This Chapter

This chapter describes the following Device views and subviews available for the Cisco Catalyst 5000/5500 Hubs:

•Interface Device View

•Chassis Device View

Interface Device View

This section describes the Interface Options panel and the Interface icons displayed in the Interface Device view. This view provides dynamic conﬁguration and performance information for each interface on this device. If the conﬁguration changes, SPECTRUM modiﬁes the Device view after the next polling cycle to reﬂect the new conﬁguration. This view also provides a Device icon which allows you to monitor the device’s operation and access other device-speciﬁc views. Figure 2-1shows an example of the Interface Device view.
