What Is in This Chapter

This chapter describes the following Conﬁguration views available for the device and its interfaces. These views display network conﬁguration and operating information.

Device Conﬁguration View

This view provides two areas of information on the conﬁguration and operating status of this device. They are described in the following sections.

Device Conﬁguration Information

This section of the Device Conﬁguration view displays the following device- speciﬁc information:

Device Name

Displays the user-deﬁned or default name for this device.

Contact Status

Displays the status of the device. Possible states are Established, Lost, or Initial.
