Turning on power
When you press the ON/OFF button, the lens extends, the Display turns on briefly, and the Power/ Memory light comes on green.
NOTE If the light comes on red, the batteries are very low.

Choosing the language
1Choose your language by scrolling with the Up/Down arrows on the Controller 
.
2Press OK in the center of the Controller 
to select the highlighted language.
Setting the date and time
1Adjust the values of the highlighted selection by using the Up/Down arrows on the Controller 
.
2Press the Left/Right arrows on the Controller 
to move to the other sections and repeat steps one and two until the correct date and time are set.
3Press OK when the proper values are entered.
