Setting Up the Share Menu on the Camera

Before you can use HP Instant Share, you must first set up the Share menu on your camera. The following procedure explains how to do this.

NOTE You will need an Internet connection to complete this procedure on a Windows computer. Also, make sure that the memory card in your camera is not locked and has some free space on it.

1Make sure that the HP Photo & Imaging Software is installed on your computer (see page 20).

2Turn on the camera, and then press the HP Instant Share (Share) button on the back of the camera.

3The Share menu appears on the Image Display.

If this is your first time adding destinations to the Share menu, there is only one menu option available

(Customize this menu... .). Press the OK button to select this menu option.

If you have previously added destinations to the Share

menu, use the button to scroll to the bottom of the list of current destinations in the Share menu, highlight

Customize this menu... , and then press the OK button.

Once you have selected

Customize this menu... , a message like this one appears on the Image Display asking you to connect the camera to your computer.
