■Compress and/or encrypt data

■Exclude files from the backup

Selecting Back Up Options
If you select...Then...

 

 

Compress Data

The backup file will be smaller, but the

 

process will take longer.

 

 

Encrypt Data

The backup file (*.pbf) will be encrypted.

 

The user must enter an alphanumeric

 

password (6-15 digits) to proceed with

 

the backup and then re-enter the

 

password to restore the data.

 

 

Stop Process Before Backup

All active programs will be closed prior

 

to the backup.

 

 

Exclude

iPAQ backup (*.pbf), program (*.exe

 

and *.dll), log (*.log), and storage card

 

files are excluded from the backup.
