11. Remove the display bezel (3). The display bezel is available using spare part number 448613-001 including microphone for computers with Intel or AMD processors without a camera module, 461913-001 for computers including microphone with AMD processors with a camera module, or 455820-001 not including microphone for computers with AMD processors.

12. If it is necessary to replace the display inverter, remove the two black Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws

(1)that secure the inverter to the display enclosure.

13. Release the inverter (2) as far as the display panel cable and the backlight cable will allow.

14. Disconnect the display panel cable (3) and the backlight cable (4) from the display inverter. The display inverter is available using spare part number 417097-001 for computers with Intel processors, 455821-001 for computers with AMD processors.

15. Remove the inverter and inverter bracket.

16. Remove the black Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screw (1) that secures the inverter to the inverter bracket.
