Removal and Replacement Procedures
3.Remove the black PM2.0×6.0 screw 1 that secures the optical drive to the notebook.
✎The Compaq Presario M2000 optical drive is secured by one black PM2.0×7.0 screw.
4.Insert a thin tool, such as a paper clip, into the media tray release hole 2. (The optical drive media tray releases from the optical drive.)
5.Use the media tray frame to slide the optical drive to the right 3.
6.Remove the optical drive.

Reverse the above procedure to install an optical drive.
