Disconnect the vehicle's negative batt ery terminal while mounting and connecting the unit.
When replacing the fuse, be s ure t o use one with an identic al amper age ra ting. Us ing a fus e with a higher a mpera ge
rating may cause ser ious damage to the unit.
Do not attempt to disa s semble the unit. Laser bea ms from the optical pickup a re dangerous to the eyes.
Make sure that p ins or other foreign ob jects do not get ins ide the unit ; they ma y caus e malfunct ions, or cr ea te safet y
hazards such a s electrical shock or las er beam exposure.
If you have parked the ca r for a long time in hot or cold weather, wa it until the tempera ture in the car becomes
normal before operating t he unit.
Do not open covers and do not repa ir yourself. Consu lt the dealer or an experienced t echnician for help.
Make sure you disconnect t he power s upp ly a nd aer ial if you will not be us ing the sys t em for a long period or du ring
a thunderstorm.
Make sure you disconnect t he power supp ly if the system a ppears to be working incor rectly, is making an unu sual
sound, has a str a nge smell, ha s s moke emitting fr om it or liqu ids ha ve got ins ide it. Ha ve a qu a lified technicia n check
the system.
The unit is designed for negative t erminal of the ba ttery, which is connected t o the vehicle metal. P lease confir m it
before installation.
Do not allow the speaker wir es to be shor ted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may overloa d or
burn out the power amplifier.
Do not install the detacha ble panel before connecting the wire.
