The electronic shock protect ion is ideal for driving uneven roa d.
For MP3 discs
Electronic Skip Pr otect ion for MP3 discs is a defau lt feat ure. Pleas e note that this fea tur e supp orts the CDs wit h songs
encoded by 96 Kb/s and 3 2000 Hz. For songs encoded in higher quality, the anti-shock dura tion will decrease
proportionally to the file size.
For CD discs
Press and hold SEL knob for 2 s econds, the disp lay will show “ TA SEEK”. Press t he knob again, “E SP 12” will be
shown on the display indicating t hat Electronic S hock Protection (ESP ) will be activated for 12 s econds. When the
display shows “ES P 12”, rotat e SEL knob s o that t he setting will be changed to “E SP 45”, indicating tha t Electronic
Shock Protection for 4 5 seconds is activated. P lease leave the unit idle for the new sett ing t o take effect.
Insert/Eject discs
Insert a disc into t he disc slot with la bel side up . T he disc will b e aut omatica lly loa ded into the unit , even when it is off
or in radio mode. For MP 3 dis cs, the wor d “MP 3 D ISC ” will be dis pla yed as t he CD is loaded. The fir st file in the r oot
folder will be played. As the file is p laying “ R OOT ” will b e disp la yed firs t, t hen if there is any ID3 inf orma tion tha t will
be displayed as the file is pla ying. For CD dis cs, the word “LOAD ” will blink on the display a nd the CD will play
automatically. P ress EJE CT butt on to eject the disc from the slot. If the disc is not removed from the slot within 5
seconds, it will automatica lly be loaded into the slot again. When the disc is ejected and removed, the unit will
automatically switch t o r adio mode.
