5.Configure the serial port parameters. For more information, see “Using Serial Communications on the Terminal” in Chapter 3.

6.(2435 only) Configure the RF parameters. For more information, see “Using RF Communications on the Terminal” in Chapter 3.

7.Enable the bar code symbologies that you want to be able to scan. For more information, see Chapter 6, “Configuration Command Reference,” in the 2400 Family system manual.

8.Exit the menu system and save your configuration changes to flash memory. For help, see “Exiting the Menu System” in Chapter 2.

When you are done with these steps, the default application or TE 2000 application that is loaded on your terminal will start. You are ready to use the terminal.
