Oracle PROCESSES Parameter (Oracle server only)
This parameter must be changed on the Oracle server. Increasing this parameter from the default value of 150 to 600 can improve performance. Use the following procedures to change this parameter.
1.Find the SPFILEORACLE.ORA file on the Oracle server.
2.Open it for editing.
3.Find the PROCESSES parameter and change it to 600.
4.Restart the Oracle instance for the new value to take effect.
