
Before turning on your projector, make sure all connections aremade. Use the
following procedure to set up the projector:
1. Place the projector on a flat surface.
vThe projector must be within 3 meters (10 feet) of your power source
and within 1.8 meters (6 feet) of your computer.
vIf you want to project from behind a translucent screen, set up the
projector behind the screen. See “Rear projection”on page 24 for
instructions on reversing the image.
2. Position the projector the desired distance from the screen.
vIf the image is too big or too small, set the zoom ring to adjust the size
or move the projector forward or backward. Once you have made all
connections described in this section, you can make adjustments. The
following illustration shows three projected image sizes. For more
information about image size, see “Appendix E. Projected image size”
on page 47.
