When the M71V2 handheld terminal’s battery is completely depleted, a “Battery Low” error screen is displayed signaling that you must replace the battery or place the unit in the charger for charging.

Barcode Data Viewer

The “Barcode Data Viewer” function displays the actual data acquired by the bar code scanner including non-printable characters. The display shows both the printed values as well as the ASCII equivalent value scanned. Hit the [C] key to clear the screen and hit the [Esc] key to quit.
