■Transmitting DSC calls

Transmitting individual call

The individual call function allows you to transmit a DSC sig- nal to a speciﬁc party only.

qSelect a desired channel other than channel 70. w Push [DSC/ENT] to select the DSC menu.

eRotate the channel selector to select “individual” and push [DSC/ENT].

rRotate the channel selector to select the desired pre-pro- grammed individual address; or push [DSC/ENT] while “Manual set” is displayed, to set the ID code for the indi- vidual you wish to call.

• The ID code for the individual call can be set in advance. (p. 22)

•Channel 70 is selected and the individual call is transmitted to the selected station.

•If channel 70 is busy, the transceiver standbys until the channel becomes clear.

•Routine category only is available.
