Dubbing from video components onto VIDEO1 (VCR or DVDR)

To dub from video components onto VIDEO1:

1Select the video source (VIDEO2 or VIDEO3).

OR

2Start recording on the video recorder.

3Start play on your input device.

Note

The audio and video signals from the input are dubbed onto the VIDEO1 recorder. You can view them at the same time on the television and hear them from the speakers.

Dubbing from audio and video signals separately onto VIDEO1

Use this procedure if you are dubbing the video from VIDEO2 and mixing it with the audio from the CD audio onto VIDEO1.

To dub from video components onto VIDEO1:

1Select VIDEO2 as the video recording source.

Using the sleep timer

The sleep timer automatically turns the receiver off after a specified period of time.

To use the sleep timer:

Press the SLEEP button to specify the amount of time you want the receiver to play.

Each time this button is pressed, the time changes as follows:

10 minutes

20 minutes

30 minutes

...

90 minutes

OFF

Note

While operating the sleep timer, the lights up.

Adjusting the display brightness

To adjust the display brightness:

Press the DIMMER button to specify the brightness of the display.

OR

2Select CD as the audio recording source.

OR

Each time this button is pressed, the brightness changes as follows:

ON

dimmer

OFF

Note

If the display is off, pressing any button turns the display on.

3Start recording on the video recorder.

4Start play on the video source and on the CD source.

Notes

The audio and video signals from the inputs are dubbed onto the VIDEO1 recorder. You can view them at the same time on the television and hear them from the speakers.

Make sure that you follow the order of steps 1 and 2.
