There are four IDE submenus: primary master, primary slave, secondary master, and secondary slave. Table 51 shows the format of the IDE submenus. For brevity, only one example is shown.

Description
Specifies the IDE configuration mode for IDE devices.
User allows the user to change the other features in this table.
Auto automatically sets the other features in this table.
Any setting other than None or Auto enables the user to set features.
Enables or disables the LBA mode control.
Specifies number of sectors per block for transfers from the hard disk drive to memory.
Check the hard disk drive’s specifications for optimum setting.
