4 Permanent settings in programming mode
Example: Proceed as follows to change the unit for the amount of water from ‘ml’ to ‘oz’.
Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
OT Press the P button. ‘Maintenance status (1/5)’
gT Turn the Rotary Switch until the program item ‘Machine set- tings (3/5)’ is displayed.
TPress the ‘Units’ button. ‘Units’
TPress the ‘oz’ button.
TPress the ‘Save’ button.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display. ‘Machine settings (3/5)’
OT Press the P button to exit programming mode. ‘Please select product:’
Restore factory settings In the program item ‘Machine settings (3/5)’ / ‘Factory setting’ you can reset various settings to their factory settings:
U‘All products’
U The settings (amount of water, coffee strength, temperature etc.) for all products are reset to the factory settings.
U‘Machine’
U All user settings (apart from the ‘filter’, ‘water hardness’ and time and date settings) are reset to the factory settings. The GIGA then switches off.
U‘Empty system’
U The system is emptied. Your GIGA then switches off.
Example: Proceed as follows to reset the values for all products to the factory settings.
Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
