The following function is possible only using the remote control.

Marking the Scenes You Want — Bookmark

You can mark any scene while playback, and later go back to the marked scene.

•This function can be used on a DVD or on a VCD without the PBC function. (This function may not work even on a DVD or on a VCD without the PBC function due to its disc structure.)

7Putting the Bookmarks Where You Want

You can mark up to three scenes which you can locate later.

1 Press BOOK MARK during playback.

MARKER : – – – MARK ENTER

Bookmark 1	Bookmark 2	Bookmark 3

2 Press 3(or 2) to select (highlight) the bookmark number position (1, 2, 3) you want.

MARKER : – – – MARK ENTER

Ex. When you select bookmark number position 3.

3 When you reach the scene you want to mark, press ENTER.

Bookmark number appears (in this case 3.)

MARKER : – – 3 PLAY CLEAR

4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to mark other scenes you want.

To erase the on-screen indication, press BOOK MARK

again.

7Locating Marked Scenes

You can locate marked scenes very easily by selecting one of the bookmarks.

1 Press BOOK MARK during playback.

MARKER : 1 2 3 PLAY CLEAR

2 Press Cursor 3 (or 2) to select (highlight) the book mark number (1, 2, 3) you want.

MARKER : 1 2 3 PLAY CLEAR

3 Press DVD 6.

Playback skips to the marked scene.

7Erasing Bookmarks

1 Press BOOK MARK during playback.

MARKER : 1 2 3 PLAY CLEAR

2 Press Cursor 3 (or 2) to select (highlight) the book mark number (1, 2, 3) you want to erase.

MARKER : 1 2 3 PLAY CLEAR

3 Press CLEAR.

The selected bookmark number disappears.

MARKER : 1 – 3 MARK ENTER

Ex. When bookmark 2 is erased.

To erase the on-screen indication, press BOOK MARK

again.
