Adjusting the Music Key Control

You can adjust the music key by using the remote control.

1. Press and hold SHIFT A during the following procedures.

2. Press KEY CONTROL I or oni the MULTI CONTROL to adjust the music key.

To lower the key, press KEY CONTROL I on the MULTI CONTROL.

To raise the key, press KEY CONTROL i on the MULTI CONTROL.

3. Release SHIFT A.

To cancel the key adjustment, press KEY CONTROL Ior iuntil “KEY 0” appears on the display

Notes:

•Once the music key is adjusted, the key level will not return to the previous level automatically after playing a song. Adjust the music key each time you sing along a song.

•The music key cannot be changed while recording.

•Once the source is changed, the key level returns to 0.

•The Sound Mode will be canceled if the Karaoke function (Multiplex Sound, Vocal Replace, Vocal Masking) is selected.

Microphone Mixing

When you want to record your singing along with any playback source, follow the procedure below.

1.Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

2.Connect the microphone (not supplied) into the MIC 1 and/or 2 jack on the front panel.

3.Start the source CD, tape, or other equipment.

4.Adjust the volume and MIC LEVEL, as you sing into the microphone.
