1STANDBY indicator
Lights red when the power is turned to standby (does not light when DC power is used).
2ON/STANDBY button
Press to turn the unit on or to turn to standby.
3VOLUME
4PRESET
Use to select presets to be stored, recalled or
cancelled.
5Display panel
Displays radio, WS broadcaster, and other
system information. Refer to page 8.
6TUNING/SELECT dial
Use to tune radio frequencies and select WS band broadcasters.
7SOUND button
Press to change the audio presentation of a broadcast.
8AUTO PRESET button
Press to automatically preset available stations in your area within each band (except for WS band).
9WS button
Press to receive the WS band.
0LEARN button
Press to adjust this unit to receive the WorldSpace frequencies available in your region.
-PTY button
Press to search for programs on a particular topic (WS band only).
=MULTI/LANG button
Press to select a language in a
simulcast or to search for a language currently being broadcast by a broadcaster (WS band only).
~BAND button
Press repeatedly to select FM AUTO, FM (FM
mono), MW, and SW.
!PHONES jack
Connect headphones for private listening (the
speakers turn off automatically).
@MEMORY/CANCEL button
Press to memorize or cancel preset stations and broadcasters, and to enter password numbers.
