Using The Info-Shoe
The following accessories (provided with
Video Light: Enables you to shoot motion video or still images under low light by continuous lighting. Stereo Microphone: Enables you to record various types of sound by changing the microphone’s directivity.

It is not possible to use the
To Attach The Accessories
Both accessories are attached in the same way. The following procedure is for the Video Light as an example.
Be sure to turn off the camcorder and accessory before attaching or removing the accessory.

To Use The Video Light
1Set the switch on the Video Light. OFF: Does not light.
ON: Lights always.
AUTO: Lights when the ambient light drops to a certain level.
2Press the Recording Start/Stop Button or SNAPSHOT to shoot an image.
NOTES:
●Even when the switch of the Video Light is set to “AUTO”, it does not light during
●Using the Video light consumes more power than shooting without the Video Light and reduces the operating time. It is recommended to use the AC Power Adapter/Charger for indoor shooting.
●The Video Light does not light unless the camcorder is turned on.
●When the bulb of the Video Light blows, please consult your nearest JVC dealer.
To Use The Stereo Microphone
1Set the stereo angle selector switch on the Stereo Microphone.

Setting examples:
0° to 90°: To record sound that is coming from a single point.
90°: To record sound that feels less expansive in scope (such as the sound of birds or musical instruments).
90° to 120°: To record sound that feels more expansive in scope (such as the sound of trains, aircraft and fireworks).
2Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to shoot an image.
NOTES:
●Do not apply a strong impact to the Stereo Microphone by dropping or hitting it.
●If the contact of the terminals on the
