B Changing or deleting Easy Rec Timer

The Easy Rec Timer that has been set can be deleted or changed to view timer.

1 Access EPG screen

Press [EPG].

2 Select time zone and channel

Press [D E] to select the desired time zone, and [FG] to select the desired channel, then press [OK].

•The detail information of the program will appear.

3 Change or delete record timer

Press [D E] to move the arrow to “Easy View” or “Delete”, then press [OK].

•When “Easy View” is selected, a mark appears in front of the program title.

4 Return to normal screen

Press [EPG].

C Easy View Timer

When Easy View Timer has been set, the digital program that has been timer set will turn on automatically. A message “VIEW TIMER PROGRAM IS STARTED A CHANNEL IS CHANGED” will appear on the screen 3 minutes before the start time of the program.

D Changing or deleting Easy View Timer

The Easy View Timer that has been set can be deleted or changed to record timer.

1 Access EPG screen

Press [EPG].

2 Select time zone and channel

Press [D E] to select the desired time zone, and [FG] to select the desired channel, then press [OK].

•The detail information of the program will appear.

3 Change or delete view timer

Press [D E] to move the arrow to “Easy Rec” or “Delete”, then press [OK].

•When “Easy Rec” is selected, an mark appears in front of the program title.

4 Return to normal screen

Press [EPG].

Press [EPG].

2 Select time zone and channel

Press [D E] to select the desired time zone, and

[FG] to select the desired channel, then press [OK].

•The detail information of the program will appear.

3 Set view timer

Press [D] to move the arrow to “Easy View”, then press [OK].

•The timer is set. A mark appears in front of the program title.

4 Return to normal screen

Press [EPG].

NOTES:

•If your TV supports only 480i image format, the EPG sub picture screen will not be displayed even if it is available. As for TVs with image format of 480p and above, which are commonly used, the EPG sub picture screen will be displayed.

•EPG will not be displayed when timer recording is in progress.

•You may not be able to set the Rec/View timer unless it contains detailed data on the EPG. If timer cannot be set using

EPG, set timer manually by performing ‘Digital Timer Programming’ (A page 49).

•The View timer is functional only when the VCR is powered on. In addition, the View timer will not function…

-while playing back a tape.

-while warning message is displayed.

-while the main menu, navigation menu, program menu or DTV menu is displayed.

•Depending on the broadcast received, the date and time on the EPG might be incorrect. In this case, the EPG may record or show a wrong program when using the Easy Rec Timer or the Easy View Timer.

•When performing recording of a digital channel (ATSC) via EPG, recording will be in VHS mode with EP as the recording speed if a VHS tape is inserted.
