Video Plus+Setup
With Video Plus+, timer programming is greatly simplified
because each TV programme has a corresponding code number
which your recorder is able to recognise.
NOTE:
“Guide Program (GUIDE PROG) number" refers to the assignedTV station numbers, according to broadcast area, for VideoPlus+ timer recording.
IMPORTANT
Perform the following procedure after Auto Set Up on page 8and/or the channel setting steps on pages 34 – 39, and after theClock Set procedure on page 42.After setting the Guide Program numbers, the station names andpreset positions may be incorrect if you stored or skippedchannels. In this case, re-perform Guide Program number setting.
For Video Plus+ timer recording to work correctly, it is neces-
sary for the Guide Program to be set properly. This should have
already been performed during Auto Set Up or Auto Channel
Set, but the following steps will help you check the settings and
make corrections if necessary.
Turn on the TV and select the VIDEO channel (or AV mode).

IMPORTANT
As Channel 5 has started its service on March 30th 1997,
the Guide Program Numbers of some stations have been
changed as follows:
