Wireless remote control
When using the remote control for operation of the video cassette player, make sure that it is pointed at the
remote sensor window.
You can also use the players remote control to operate a JVC television.

To turn the power on and off (standby).

9 PAUSE button
To freeze the picture during playback.
Also to engage the recording pause
mode.

To rewind the video tape. Also to start
reverse shuttle search playback.

REC button
Press the 7 REC to start recording.

AUTO button
To enable/disable auto tracking mode.
SP/LP/EP(p) button
To select the recording tape speed.
To select JVC TVs sounds.

To select the mode.

To access Mode Set screen.

To start playback.

To fast forward the video tape. Also to
start forward shuttle search playback.

EJECT button
Press the 0 to eject the cassette. You also
can eject the cassette when the player is
turned off.

TRACKING +/– buttons
To adjust tracking during playback.

OK/ button
To fix the setting.
To display the information on the
television's display.
NOTES:
Point the remote control toward the
remote sensor window.
The maximum operating distance of the
remote control is about 8 m.
When inserting the batteries, be sure to
insert in the correct directions as indicated
under the battery cover.
If the remote control doesn’t work
properly, remove its batteries, wait a short
time, replace the batteries and then try
again.
