Your video recorder is capable of recording three soundtracks (HI-FI L, HI-FI R and NORM) and will play back the one you select.
During Playback
Pressing AUDIO on the remote control changes the soundtrack being played back as follows:

played back in stereo, and the normal

automatically for tapes with only
normal audio.

"SPATIALIZER " or "SPATIALIZER[ST" selected.
If your TV is equipped with 3D-PHONIC and if you
use both SpatializerW and 3D-PHONIC at the same
time, the sound may become unnatural; set either
function to "OFF".
The setting will remain effective even though you
turn on/off the recorder.
