Changing the general settings 4 Adjust the PSM item selected. (PSM)

You can change the items listed on the next page by using the PSM (Preferred Setting Mode) control.

•The PSM items are grouped into five

categories—“Disp (display),” “Clock,” “Tuner,” “Color,” and “Audio.”

Basic Procedure

1 Press and hold SEL (select) for more than 2 seconds so that one of the PSM items appears on the display.

(See pages 36 and 37.)

2 Press 5 (up) or ∞ (down) repeatedly

until your desired PSM category appears on the left side of the display.

3 Select the PSM item you want to adjust.

5 Repeat steps 2 to 4 to adjust the other PSM items if necessary.

6 Finish the setting.

To set clock—Clock Hr, Clock Min, 24H/12H

You can set the clock using the PSM control.

•You can select either 12-hour system or 24- hour system.

1 Press and hold SEL (select) for more than 2 seconds so that one of the PSM items appears on the display.

2Press 5(up) or ∞(down) repeatedly until “Clock” is selected as the PSM category (it is shown on the left side of the display).

3Press ¢ or 4 to select “Clock Hr (hour).”

4Turn the control dial to adjust the hour.

5Press ¢ or 4 to select “Clock Min (minute).”

6Turn the control dial to adjust the minute.

7Press ¢ or 4 to select “24H/12H.”

8Turn the control dial to select either “24Hours” or “12Hours.”

9Press SEL (select) to finish the setting.
