Satellite radio operations

You can also connect the JVC SIRIUS radio PnP (Plug and Play), using the JVC SIRIUS radio adapter, KS- U100K (not supplied) to the CD changer jack on the rear. (Select “EXT-IN” as the source.)

By turning on/off the power of the unit, you can turn on/off the JVC PnP. However, you cannot control it from this unit.

iPod operations

You can control the following types of iPods through the interface adapter.

iPod with dock connector (3rd Generation)

iPod with Click Wheel (4th Generation)

iPod mini

iPod photo

iPod nano *1

iPod video (5th Generation) *2

*1 When you connect the iPod nano to the interface adapter, be sure to disconnect the headphones; otherwise, no sound is heard.

*2 It is not possible to browse video files on the “Videos” menu while the iPod is connected to the interface adapter.

If the iPod does not play correctly, please update your iPod software to the latest version. For details about updating your iPod, visit <http://www.apple.com>.

When you turn on this unit, the iPod is charged through the adapter connected to this unit.

While the iPod is connected, all operations from the iPod are disabled. Perform all operations from this unit.

Menu settings

If you change the <Amplifier Gain> setting from <High> to <Low> while the volume level is set higher than “30,” the unit automatically changes the volume level to “VOL 30.”

After you change any of <Menu Language/Audio Language/Subtitle> settings, turn off then on the power, and re-insert the disc (or insert another disc) so that your setting takes effect.

When you select <16:9> for a picture whose aspect ratio is 4:3, the picture slightly changes due to the process for converting the picture width.

Even if <4:3PS> is selected, the screen size may become <4:3LB> for some discs.

60
