Activating the Surround Modes
Available Surround modes vary depending on the speaker settings and the incoming signals. (See page 32.)
Activating one of the Surround modes for a source automatically recalls the memorized settings and adjustments (see pages 23 to 31.)
Activating the Surround Modes
You can also use the buttons on the remote control for the same functions.
Activating the EX/ES setting
For
•Once you have set EX/ES
1.Select and play any source other than “DVD MULTI.”
•Make sure you have selected the analog or digital input mode.
•Surround modes are not valid for DVD MULTI playback mode.
2.Press SURROUND to activate the Surround mode.

Press SURROUND/DSP OFF (or SURR/DSP OFF on the remote control). “SURR OFF” appears on the display.
