AUTO HEAD CLEANING system cleans the video headsautomatically when a cassette is inse_ed or ejected to
preventdirt from accumulating onthe heads. However,manual head cis_niog is needed ifthe picture on playttack is
still unclearalthOughthe picture on program isnormal. This failure signifies that the head is getting dirty and occurs
when playingpoor quality ordamaged tapes. If the heads require cleaning,use a highqualify head cleaning system
orhave them cleaned professionally.

•Video heads may eventually wear out and should be replaced when they fail to produce clear pictures.
•Tohelp prevent video head clogging, use onlygood quality VHS tapes. Discard worn out tapes.
